We have fun stuff to do to keep young peeps occupied throughout the week… all activities will take place between 12-2pm (so its not too early) apart from Wednesday which starts at 11am.

  • Monday 15th – Art Workshop (for budding Picasso’s)
  • Tuesday 16th – Puppetry Workshop (learning different skills)
  • Wednesday 17th – Table Tennis Run-around Tournament (because its a good laugh!)

*These activities are at Oakham Evangelical Church, city road

  • Thursday 18th – Football Skills
  • saturday 20th – NFL-style Flag Football (if you enjoyed the Superbowl, then try your hand at American football without the rough tackles, perfect for someone trying a new sport… This is for adults as well as young folk!)

*These activities are at Grace Mary school field, Hawfield Road, off City Road

all activities are run by our youth and sports worker, Rob WJ

leading to an ASDAN qualification.

This programme of training sessions runs form 1 until 3 PM on the following Tuesday and Thursday afternoons throughout the holiday

Leading to a course certificate

This programme of training sessions runs from 10 AM until Noon on the following Tuesday and Thursday mornings throughout the holiday.

Cricket coaching

Cricket coaching for Key stage 3 will take place 1 to 3 PM on Tuesday 7th August and Thursday 9th August.
Cricket coaching for Key Stage 3 will take place 10 Am to Noon on Tuesday 7th August and Thursday 9th August.

Creative workshops

Day workshops for Key stages 2 and 3 in dance, percussion and illustration are also planned for the summer.

A qualified football coach, he has a keen interest in most sports and has a good deal of experience of working with young people. Rob has now begun working as our Youth Sports and Activities Worker, in this role he will be setting up and running activities throughout the holidays, during weekends and on evenings. In addition he will also be working closely with local schools and organisations.
